Through Reef Aid, we work with the Greening Australia team & local land holders to restore their land and stop pollutants from reaching the Reef.
Coastal wetlands are restored to reduce pollutants, improve water quality and restore ecological connections with the Great Barrier Reef lagoon.
Gullies are being rebuilt to stop sediment flowing from eroding land onto the Great Barrier Reef which harms our beautiful coral and aquatic life.
Ongoing partnerships with Indigenous organizations and nation groups are made to support employment, reconnection with and restoration of country in the Great Barrier Reef.
This year, we have gone one step further, to help save our Reef.
